Institute of Construction Management and Digital Engineering

Thank you for your interest in the Institute of Construction Management and Digital Building at Leibniz Universität Hannover.

In April 2016 I took over the management of the institute. My goal is to develop the focus on construction management and digital construction in research and teaching as a link between science and practice.

I would like to contribute my knowledge and experience. I spent 14 years in top management at Deutsche Bahn AG, most recently as managing director of an international project service provider with 1,500 employees.

I was responsible for the implementation of major projects in Germany and worldwide with a focus on Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Singapore and China. My personal interest has always been in the development and implementation of technical innovations.

I would like to pass on this knowledge to the students in newly designed courses to enable them to prepare well for the challenges in the construction industry.

I am very interested in a cooperation with politics and economy as well as in (international) research partnerships and look forward to the exchange with you!
